ITB JOURNAL


ITB Journal (formerly Proceedings ITB), the official ITB scientific journal, has been published since 1961. It serves as a vehicle for ITB’s faculty members and contributors from outside of ITB to publish research findings in science, technology and fine arts. Starting with the 2007 edition (Volume 39), Proceedings ITB change its name to ITB Journal and publish four journal series.

Published and organized by Visual Communication and Multimedia Research Group of ITB (Bandung Institute of Technology) since 2009, the journal is published twice a year every July and December.     Jurnal Teknik Sipil was published for the first time in 1990 with a mission as a pioneer in the scientific research publication of Civil Engineering in Indonesia.

     

    As a national media, Jurnal Teknik Sipil is expected to accommodate the need for a media to disseminate information and latest publication for researchers and practitioners of Civil Engineering in Indonesia. In its development, Jurnal Teknik Sipil has been accredited based on the decision letter of Directorate General of Research and Development Strengthening, Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia, no. : 32a/E/KPT/2017, dated 26 April 2017 as a national scientific journal since 1996 and is currently has been re-accredited on April 2017.

     

    With this achievement, Jurnal Teknik Sipil has been established as a media with high quality. Until now the Jurnal Teknik Sipil still an process to maintain its quality scientific publishing only the latest research results in the domain of Civil Engineering.

    MESIN is a National Journal of Mechanical Engineering covering the knowledge and applications of Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Materials Engineering, and Manufacturing Engineering.


    Jurnal Mesin was published for the first time in January 1982 with a mission as a pioneer in the scientific research publication of Mechanical Engineering in Indonesia.


    As a national journal, Jurnal Mesin has aim to disseminate the latest information and publications for researchers and practitioners of Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, and Materials Engineering in Indonesia. In its development, the Jurnal Mesin received a print version of the International Standard Serial Number (ISSN) from the LIPI Scientific Data and Documentation Center in 2007, and an electronic ISSN with SK no. 0005.2580765X/JI.3.1/SK.ISSN/2017.07 on July 2017.


    Until now, the Jurnal Mesin is still in the process of maintaining its quality scientific publishing only the latest research results in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, and Materials Engineering.

  • Journal Geoaplika

    Journal Geoaplika (jgeoapp) adalah jurnal ilmiah berjenis "impact neutral" yang dikelola oleh KK Geologi Terapan, Fakultas Ilmu dan Teknologi Kebumian, Institut Teknologi Bandung. "Neutral impact" atau dampak netral di sini didefinisikan bahwa kami menerbit seluruh artikel riset pada berbagai tahapan tanpa melakukan penilaian terhadap proyeksi dampaknya kepada ilmu pengetahuan.

    Menurut kami, keutamaan dari ilmu pengetahuan adalah saat disebarkan. Sementara berbagai riset di Indonesia ini banyak yang mengungkap potensi lokal, sehingga dampaknyapun (terkesan) bersifat lokal pula. Dengan alasan ini, banyak jurnal menolaknya. Banyak diantaranya dikirimkan ke jurnal LN (luar negeri) dan ditolak pada kesempatan pertama.

    Riset tidak harus berdampak secara nasional, karena setiap riset akan memiliki keunikan yang diawali dengan keunikan daerah atau obyek riset yang ditelaah.


    Walaupun bersifat "impact neutral", tapi kami sepakat bahwa makalah perlu menarik dan menonjolkan sisi kemanfaatannya. Jurnal ini akan menampilkan artikel-artikel yang memperlihatkan penerapan ilmu geosains dan interaksinya dengan bidang ilmu lainnya untuk mengatasi berbagai masalah di masyarakat.

  • Jurnal Air Tanah

    Jurnal Air Tanah adalah jurnal sains terbuka di bidang air tanah, hidrogeologi dan sumber daya air yang diterbitkan oleh Fakultas Ilmu dan Teknologi Kebumian, Institut Teknologi Bandung bekerjasama dengan Perhimpunan Ahli Airtanah Indonesia (PAAI).

    Karakter unik kami:


    1. Mendukung pengunggahan preprint: Mendorong penulis untuk mengunggah artikel pra-peer-reviewnya ke e-print server INArxiv. Penulis juga dapat memanfaatkan platform penulisan Authorea dan Overleaf untuk keperluan drafting sekaligus pengiriman makalah ke INArxiv e-print server. Kami memberikan opsi bagi penulis untuk menayangkan versi 1 artikelnya dalam format HTML pada laman INArxiv - Authorea Group Page untuk mendapatkan komentar dan masukan dari pembaca secara langsung.

    2. Memaksimumkan HTML: Kami berupaya memaksimumkan HTML dalam penayangan artikel yang telah diterima. Artikel akan tayang dalam format HTML secara penuh, selain dalam format PDF pada laman konvensional berbasis OJS.

    3. Didukung jejaring berbagai layanan sains terbuka: JAT bekerjasama dengan platform penulisan Authorea dan Overleaf sebagai layanan kami kepada para penulis. Bila menggunakan layanan ini, penulis dapat mempercepat alur proses publikasi.

    4. Berorientasi kepada para pembaca: selain menayangkan artikel dalam format HTML secara penuh via Jurnal Air Tanah - Authorea Group Page  yang tentunya memberikan kenyamanan kepada pembaca, kami juga memaksimumkan fitur anotasi dan pemberian komentar oleh Hypothes.is dan PRE-review platform.

    5. Mendorong publikasi data dan reproducible research: dalam operasionalnya, JAT mendorong para penulis untuk mempublikasikan data dalam format yang paling mudah untuk digunakan pembaca. TUjuannya adalah agar pembaca dapat memvalidasi dan menguji hasil analisis yang tertayang dalam artikel (prinsip reproducible research). Data tersebut kemudian disitir dalam artikel. Kerjasama kami dengan INArxiv memungkinkan pembaca untuk mengunggah berkas pendukung (supplementary files) berukuran besar secara leluasa. Berkas pendukung dapat berupa tabel data mentah, rekaman suara, video, kode program, dll. 


    Semua itu diharapkan dapat memberikan kenyamanan kepada penulis sekaligus juga kepada para pembaca.

    The KATARUPA journal accepts articles based on studies, works, and figures' perspectives. The major themes in this journal relate to literacy, arts, design, and visual culture that are cross-disciplinary including:

    Peer Review Process


    All articles submitted to the Katarupa Journal must comply with the criteria for the Katarupa Journal (See the Author Guidelines). These articles will be reviewed by two or more reviewers in a double blind review. Reviewers will recommend articles for publication without revision, published with major/minor revisions, or rejected. The decision to publish or reject articles is based on reports and recommendations from reviewers. Under certain conditions, the editor may conduct an initial assessment before a decision is taken.


    Assessment by reviewers can take 2 to 5 months. Please check the progress of the manuscript via the email used for author registration or through an account on our Open Journal System (OJS) website. All correspondence processes are carried out via email.


    Publication Frequency


    The Katarupa journal is published twice a year, namely in June and November.
