PENGARUH ZUMBA TERHADAP VO2MAX, INDEKS MASSA TUBUH, DAN PERSENTASE LEMAK TUBUH

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dampak yang diberikan oleh zumba terhadap VO2max, Indeks Massa Tubuh, dan Persentase Lemak Tubuh. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah member aktif S Fitness Center Bandung, dengan total sampel 10 untuk kelompok zumba. Desain penelitian menggunakan One Group Prestest-Postest Design. Satu kelompok menggunakan eksperimen latihan zumba, penelitian dilakukan selama 12 minggu, dengan tiga kali latihan dalam seminggu. Data yang diolah pada penelitian ini adalah data pre-test dan post-test untuk mengetahui seberapa besar peningkatan dari program penelitian yang telah dilaksanakan. Dari data yang telah diolah menghasilkan kesimpulan bahwa terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan terhadap VO2max (p < 0.05), untuk indeks massa tubuh pun terjadi penurunan yang signifikan (p < 0.05), dan terjadi penurunan juga pada persentase lemak tubuh (p < 0.05). Penulis menyimpulkan bahwa zumba dapat dijadikan metode latihan inti maupun selingan untuk meningkatkan VO2max, dan memperbaiki Indeks Massa Tubuh serta Persentase Lemak Tubuh.References
