Penelitian Eksperimental Geser-Friksi Sambungan Tiang Kayu Lontar (Borassus flabellifer) dengan Batu pada Rumah Tradisional Ammu Hawu (NTT)
Abstract. Ammu Hawu been native tradisional houses in Indonesia have poles above the stone foundation structure system. This type were often used in traditional houses, it can improve overall structure performance due to lateral forces. This behavior is known as base isolation system, the popular ways to protect the structure from lateral force. The objective of this research is to recognize friction value parameter that occur in pole-stone foundation connection. This research was conducted through experimental testing in laboratory with 3 specimen tests. Testing was done by providing constant axial load (there were 3 variations of axial load each specimens) and lateral load incrementally untill the papyrus (Borassus flabellifer) and stone surface conditions sliped. Friction value was calculated by comparing both of the loads. Result shown friction between papyrus and stone was equal to m = 0.35. This friction value obtained to recommended as a parameter value to the friction between papyrus and stone.
