Abstract

Ringkasan. Pabrik baja tulangan tumbuh dengan pesat di Indonesia. Di dalam studi ini dipelajari tentang efisiensi penggunaan energi dari pabrik-pabrik tersebut. Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa makin tinggi kapasitas pabrik makin hemat pemakaian energinya. Di samping itu ditemukan pula bahwa penyediaan energy untuk pabrik-pabrik tersebut terlalu tinggi.

Abstract. Mini roll steel mills are growing very fast in Indonesia. In this work the efficiency of energy utilization in those factories are studied and it was found that the energy utilization is more efficient for the factory which has higher capacity. 0n the other hand it was discovered that the energy reserved for those factories was too high for their capacities.
