Abstract

Abstrak. Dalam interaksi dinamik tanah-tiang fundasi-struktur basement akibat beban gempa, gaya lateral tiang fundasi, gesekan tanah pada dinding sisi basement dan gaya lateral pada dinding basement akan timbul secara bersamaan. Dalam penelitian ini, distribusi dan perilaku gaya-gaya tersebut dianalisis dengan metode alih beban dan azas tegangan lateral tanah. Data yang digunakan dalam analisis diambil dari beberapa bangunan gedung di Jakarta. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa fundasi tiang akan memikul sebagian besar beban interaksi, sedangkan tekanan lateral dan tegangan geser pada dinding basement sangat dipengaruhi oleh kondi-si tanah, dan konfigurasi tiang dan basement.

Abstract. Under earthquake induced dynamic soil-pile-basement structure interactions, simultaneous pile lateral, wall frictional, and wall normal forces will occur. This research investigated the distribution and behavior of such forces using the load transfer method as well as the classical lateral earth pressure principles. Data from typical buildings in Jakarta was used in the analysis. The results show that the pile foundations system carries a major part of the interaction forces, while reactions for wall frictional and normal forces are largely dependent on the soil conditions, pile system and basement configurations.
