Abstract

Abstrak

This paper will try to simulate the modeling of sediment transport phenomena. We use a Numerical scheme for the classical Saint-Venant ? Exner model. It is based on a relaxation approach and works with all sediment flux functions. The governing equation will be divided into Hydrodynamic and Morphodynamic. Morphodynamics will be using the classical Exner approach and Hydrodynamic will be using FTCS numeric scheme. This paper will validate the simulation with the previous research. From the simulation results, it can be seen that a simple numeric method such as FTCS is capable of simulating scour due to dam break flow. Several conditions must be considered to carry out this simulation, namely the purchase of the Courant Number value.

Kata-kata Kunci : Dambreak, FTCS, morphodynamic.
