Abstract
Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) is a holistic approach in identifying risks of an enterprise that may face and determines appropriate responses aligned with its risk appetite. There have been abundant research efforts focusing on ERM for many areas in many countries but none of them were specifically dedicated to measuring the ERM maturity of large Indonesian construction firms. This research aims at measuring ERM level of Indonesian large construction firms and identifying its influencing factors. This research was based on a survey involving a total of 31 construction firms of B1 and B2 class. The fuzzy set theory was used for the maturity assessment because of its merits in dealing with ambiguity. This research demonstrates that the ERM maturity of the sampled firms is "medium-high." A further correlational analysis suggests that the maturity tends to go higher for firms of longer experiences, larger size, and adopting SNI ISO 31000: 2011. The analysis also founds that there are no correlations between ownership types of enteprises and adoption of different editions of ISO 9000 and ERM maturity.
