    A lot has happened throughout 2022. The Covid pandemic has not yet ended and the efforts of researchers regarding this disaster can be seen from the many Covid-related articles that have been sent to us, including the impact of online education which has had to be carried out for almost the past two years. Fortunately the development of digital technology is very helpful.

    Not only in the field of education, rapid developments in the digital world have also become the object of research by many scientists in the fields of economics and culture.

    Following the re-accreditation (Sinta2) by the Director General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology, through the Decree No. 158/E/KPT/2021 concerning Peringkat Akreditasi Jurnal Ilmiah Periode I Th. 2021, we are pleased to inform you that Jurnal Sosioteknologi 21st Edition, Vol, 1, March 2022, has been published.


    We have featured a few changes in this edition as follows. The article publication schedule has changed into March, July, and November. The layout of the manuscript has also undergone changes. For the readers’ convenience, from this issue onwards we will be using 1 column template. We would like to show our commitment to improving our journal’s consistency in editing. Furthermore, we will continue to strive to improve our journal’s quality, in term of both the content and the presentation.

We’d also like to share good news with all authors, reviewers, and readers that Jurnal Sosioteknologi has been recently re-accredited (2021-2025) SINTA 2 by Direktur Jenderal Pendidikan Tinggi, Riset, dan Teknologi No. 158/E/KPT/2021 tentang Peringkat Akreditasi Jurnal Ilmiah Periode I Th. 2021.
    As part of the plan for the internationalization of our journal, for future editions, we encourage authors to submit manuscripts within our focus and scope in English. Kindly be notified that starting 2022, Jurnal Sosioteknologi will be published in March, July, and November. There will be changes in our manuscript template and APC.

    Jurnal Sosioteknologi is committed to publishing academic manuscripts in the fields of humanities and technology that discuss strategic issues and novelties in authors' respective fields, both academically and practically. Jurnal Sosioteknologi accepts manuscripts in the form of research results, conceptual ideas, studies, and theoretical applications, as well as book reviews.


    This journal focuses on the research fields of the intersection of science, technology, arts, and humanities, as well as the implications of science, technology and art on people's lives. Jurnal Sosioteknologi publishes manuscripts three times each year: April, August, and December.


    We'd also like to inform you that in 2021 our journal will undergo re-accreditation while also preparing for international indexing. Therefore, we are kindly inviting authors from Indonesia and other countries to send your manuscripts in English to our journal.
