The themes explored span from the integration of artificial intelligence in news broadcasting to the intricacies of digital transformation among micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). In “AI in News Radio,“ the tension between technological efficiency and the preservation of journalistic ethics and human connection is deftly examined, while other articles such as “Adaptive Diagnostic Assessment Design“ and “Teaching at the Right Level Learning“ delve into innovations in educational technology to support more responsive and equitable pedagogy.
This issue also reflects pressing national agendas, such as the energy transition and digital literacy. The article on induction stove adoption in Surakarta provides timely insights into public technology readiness, whereas the study on MSMEs in Palu reveals strategic responses to barriers in digital transformation. These cases highlight how localized efforts are shaping the trajectory of Indonesia’s technological future.
Further, contributions such as the sentiment analysis using Naive Bayes classifiers and the computational approach to hate speech corpus construction signify the increasing relevance of data-driven methodologies in addressing social and cultural challenges. We have featured a few changes in this edition as follows. The article publication schedule has changed into March, July, and November. The layout of the manuscript has also undergone changes. For the readers’ convenience, from this issue onwards we will be using 1 column template. We would like to show our commitment to improving our journal’s consistency in editing. Furthermore, we will continue to strive to improve our journal’s quality, in term of both the content and the presentation.

As part of the plan for the internationalization of our journal, for future editions, we encourage authors to submit manuscripts within our focus and scope in English. Kindly be notified that starting 2022, Jurnal Sosioteknologi will be published in March, July, and November. There will be changes in our manuscript template and APC.
We are happy to announce that Jurnal Sosioteknologi Vol. 20 Issue 2 (August edition) is now available. For future editions, we encourage authors to submit manuscripts within our focus and scope in English.

Jurnal Sosioteknologi accepts manuscripts in the form of research results, conceptual ideas, studies, and theoretical applications, as well as book reviews.
This journal focuses on the research fields of the intersection of science, technology, arts, and humanities, as well as the implications of science, technology and art on people's lives. Jurnal Sosioteknologi publishes manuscripts three times each year: April, August, and December.
We'd also like to inform you that in 2021 our journal will undergo re-accreditation while also preparing for international indexing. Therefore, we are kindly inviting authors from Indonesia and other countries to send your manuscripts in English to our journal.
