PENGARUH SIKAP DAN KARAKTERISTIK KONSUMEN TERHADAP PENGGUNAAN PONSEL PINTAR LAYAR SENTUH
Abstract
Pesatnya kemajuan teknologi membawa dampak pada bermunculannya perangkat teknologi berspesifikasi canggih dengan fungsi yang kompleks, salah satunya adalah produk ponsel pintar (smartphone). Hal ini dapat membingungkan pengguna dalam hal persepsi, ekspektasi dan kegunaan produk. Penelitian ini bersifat eksploratori, yang mencoba menggali keterkaitan antara sikap dan karakteristik pengguna dalam beradaptasi dengan perangkat teknologi. Adapun alat ukur yang diujicobakan adalah berdasarkan pendekatan TAM model, yang mencakup aspek: behavioral control, barriers, social norms, perceived enjoyment, perceived usefulness, intention to use. Alat ukur diujikan melalui metode kuesioner dengan 5 skala likert, dan disebarkan pada 110 responden. Hasil temuan membuktikan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara jenis kelamin dengan sikap terhadap penggunaan perangkat teknologi. Diharapkan dari studi pendahuluan yang telah dilakukan ini, memberikan kontribusi yang bermanfaat bagi pengembangan desain smartphone agar tidak hanya berfokus pada kemajuan teknologi produk semata, namun juga mengindahkan pengalaman pengguna selama mengoperasikan produk.

ABSTRACT
The rapid of technological advances, have an impact on the emergence of technologies with sophisticated specifications and complex functions, such as smartphones. It can be confusing to the user in terms of perceptions, expectations and usability of the product. This study tried to explore the relation between attitudes and characteristics of users to adapt to technological devices. The investigation used the measuring instrument TAM model, that includes aspects: behavioral control, barriers, social norms, perceived enjoyment, perceived usefulness, intention to use. This measuring tool was tested through questionnaire in 5 Likert scale, and distributed to 110 participants. The findings prove that there is a significant relationship between gender and attitudes toward the use of technological devices. The result of this preliminary studies, could provide a useful contribution to the development of smartphone design that not only focuses on technological advances, but also consider to the user experience during operate the product.
