Plagiarism Policy

The authors should ensure that they have written entirely original works, and if the authors have used the work and/or words of others, that this has been appropriately cited or quoted. Plagiarism is carried out to spread another paper as the author's paper, copy or paraphrase important parts of another paper (without attribution), and claim the results of research carried out by others. Plagiarism in all its forms constitutes unethical publishing behavior and is unacceptable. Therefore, every author needs to respect the intellectual property rights of others and avoid plagiarism in all its forms.

  1. The articles sent by the author must be an original script and are not being considered for publication and not being published by other journals or publishers. This is done through a copyright waiver to the publisher and a statement about plagiarism filled by the author.
  2. Jurnal Otomasi Kontrol dan Instrumentasi uses Grammarly and Turnitin to check the manuscript's authenticity. The maximum similarity is 20% for the whole manuscript and 4% for each source.
  3. Plagiarism-detected works will be banned for further publication procedures.
  4. Peer review teams who are competent in their field review articles as a way to control plagiarism.
