Allegations of Research and Publication Misconduct
JICTRA takes all credible allegations of research and publication misconduct seriously.
Misconduct may include, but is not limited to, fabrication or falsification of data, plagiarism, duplicate or redundant publication, inappropriate authorship, citation manipulation, undeclared conflicts of interest, peer-review manipulation, unauthorized use of confidential information, or unethical use of artificial intelligence.
Allegations may be submitted to the Editorial Office with supporting information.
Each case will be handled confidentially and fairly.
The journal may conduct an initial assessment, request clarification and supporting documentation from the authors, consult reviewers or institutions where appropriate, and take corrective action based on the available evidence.
Possible actions include rejection, correction, retraction, expression of concern, notification of relevant institutions, or other appropriate measures.
Decisions will be based on evidence and due process rather than allegation alone.
