Peer Review Process
All manuscripts submitted to the Journal of ICT Research and Applications (JICTRA) are checked for similarity and potential plagiarism before being assigned for peer review.
Manuscripts that pass similarity and potential plagiarism screening undergo an initial editorial screening to assess their relevance to the journal's scope, compliance with submission requirements, originality, and basic scientific quality.
JICTRA applies a Single-Blind Peer Review process. The identity of the reviewers is not disclosed to the authors, while reviewers may have access to the authors' identities and affiliations.
Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two independent reviewers with relevant expertise in the subject area. Reviewers are expected to assess the following aspects:
Reviewers must maintain the confidentiality of manuscripts and disclose any potential conflict of interest before accepting a review assignment.
Based on the reviewers' recommendations, the editor may decide to accept the manuscript, request revisions, request resubmit for review, resubmit elsewhere or decline the manuscript.
The final decision regarding publication is made by the Editor based on the scientific quality of the manuscript, reviewers' recommendations, journal policies, and publication ethics.
The journal does not guarantee acceptance or a specific review duration, as the review process depends on the availability of qualified reviewers and the revisions required.
